Symmetrical Crop - Free plugin (Free and Studio)

 

This simple plugin allows symmetrical cropping with a single setting (rather than doing left-right or top-bottom individually). The color of the crop bars can be set.

How to use

Once installed, drag and drop the Symmetrical Crop effect to the clip. In the Inspector open the Effects tab and select Fusion (if not already selected by default).  

The Controls

X Crop will add symmetrical left and right crop.

Y Crop will add symmetrical top and bottom crop.

Bar Color changes the color of the crop bars...

All controls can be keyframed.

Download and install

1) Download the plugin from Google Drive here.The download will open in a new window and the file can be downloaded to and installed from any location.
The plugin is compatible with both Windows and Mac OS

2) Double click the downloaded file and select Install. The plugin is automatically copied to the correct directory and the downloaded file is no longer required. 

3) Basic Shapes is now available under Fusion effects in the edit tab. 
(A re-start is DaVinci Resolve can be required for the plugin to show up.)
