The Crop and PiP Control FS is an Crop and Picture in picture Fusion plugin that can be used directly from the edit page.

How to use

Place the clip that will be the picture in picture on a track above the background clip. Drag the Crop and PiP Control Fusion effect to the picture in picture clip directly on the edit page. Go to the "Inspector" and open "Effects".

The Controls

The Crop and Picture in picture is controled from the Effects tab in the Inspector.

Crop Center: Positions the crop area of the image.
Crop Size: Changes the size of the cropped area.
Crop Aspect Ratio: Changes the aspect ratio of the crop, either with the control wheel, or through the preset buttons, with a constant crop area.
Image Position: Positions the croped image.
Image Size: Changes the size of the cropped image.
Image Rotaion: Rotates the cropped image.
Corner Radius: Sets the corner radius of the cropped image.
Corner radius 1 on a 1:1 aspect ratio makes a circle...
Soft Edge: Blurs the edges of the cropped image.
Best used with no frame...
Border Width: Sets the width of the cropped image's border/"Frame".
Default is no border (Border Width = 0).
Border Color: Sets the border color...
Drop Shadow controls...
Default is no drop shadow (Shadow Strength = 0)

Tool tip: The settings can be copied and pasted to other clips. Select the clip, right-click and "Copy". Select the destination clip, right-click and "Paste Attributes...". Check "Fusion Effects" and "Apply".

All controls can be keyframed (except for the preset buttons that do not work when keyframes are set).

Download and install

1) Download the plugin from Google Drive here. 

The download will open in a new window and the file can be downloaded and installed from any location.

2) Double click the downloaded file and select Install

3) The Crop and PiP Control is now available under Fusion Effects in the Edit tab.

The plugin is automatically copied to the correct directory and the downloaded file is no longer reqiured.
